This morning I am busy sorting out all of the craft materials we have got for our Kid's Craft Afternoon on Thursday. The last Craft Day we had was very popular so I am really looking forward to this week and seeing lots of familiar faces, and a few new ones too hopefully! Come along this Thursday and for just £3 you can do as many craft activities as you want from 12 - 4pm. This is a parent and child session so you can get to enjoy some creative making with your kiddies (and take a sneaky cake break in the Tea Room if you wish!).

We have had lots of new faces volunteering in our lovely Tea Room over the past couple of weeks. If you would like to volunteer with us please pop into the hall to see what shifts are available - we would love to have you!

It's nearly that time again for our monthly bingo night. Come along next Monday 12th August for a fun night of family bingo. Over £80 in cash prizes and lots of lovely stuff to be won on the night. Doors open 6:30, eyes down 7:15 - everyone welcome so I hope to see you there!

We had a fantastic day at the hall yesterday with our Summer pirate Treasure Hunt. Over 100 kids turned up to help us solve the clues and unlock the treasure chest full of goodies! We raised £200 for the hall during the day, and also the Tea Room was full with hungry adventurers requiring a well-deserved cake as a reward for all their clue hunting! The next event is Nerf Wars on Thursday - hope to see you there!

We had a great turnout for our first Nerf Wars session today. Lots of kids with a lot of energy to burn off (and a couple of mums sat in the quiet Tea Room with a good book!) We can't wait for the rest of the sessions, but are quite glad there's a week between each for a rest!

The Teddy Bears have their picnic!

Come and join us today for a mass picnic on the playing field! Bring your own or let us do all the hard work and choose from a selection of lovely homemade food from our Tea Room! Children's lunch packs available, as well as Teddy Bears for sale, children's Lucky Dip and free ball games to use on the field. As always our soft play will be open for little one's and we have our fantastic outdoor play area too. Come along and join us on this beautiful Summer's day!

We welcomed some new editions to the Marshland family today in the form of our funky farmyard! To be used in the soft play area these friendly fellows will get a lot of use I'm sure!

Well it looks like it's going to be a blazing week ahead. Just this morning we had a few of our regulars from the nearby building sites, who looked very pleased to be sitting having their breakfast in our lovely air conditioned Tea Room! We have cold water in the fridge for anyone looking for a local hydration station. The soft-players are in enjoying themselves, with a little help from the air conditioning too!

Looking ahead on the weather front it looks good for our mass Teddy Bear's Picnic next Monday, so do come along if you are free and want to make use of our fantastic playing field. Remember that we also have free ball games for you to borrow and enjoy too.

Morning all!

It's a bit of a strange day as today's task is to paint props for our Nerf Wars event which is taking place in a few week's time. We managed to get an hour's painting in before we were rained off the patio! Now I need to get shopping and buy some large sheets to make base camps! Our first Nerf Warzone session is on Thursday 1st August and bookings are now being taken. Give us a call if you need more information, or visit our Facebook page for full details.

We now have a range of ball games for use on the playing field that you can borrow free of charge! All we ask is for a deposit of £5 which will be returned in full when you return the game. We have available:
Footballs
Basketballs
Rounders Set
Cricket Set
Boules Set
Soft Tennis Set
You can borrow them between 10am and 3pm Monday to Friday.
