Work Experience

We are pleased to launch our work experience programme at Marshland Hall, where you can come and gain some valuable experience in our Tea Room. For children under the age of 16 they will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and both work as a pair in our Tea Room serving customers on a pre-arranged shift to suit. Children aged 16-18 can work alongside either a parent/guardian or one of our lovely volunteers. Adults aged 18 or over will initially be trained up alongside one of our volunteers, but can then work alone once trained. We welcome groups who want to work together on a shift too - the more the merrier, and it certainly gets busy enough for everyone!

All work experience is on a voluntary basis, but we provide full training (including Food Hygiene Certificate if requested), staff apron, and as much tea or coffee as you can drink!

Pop into the hall or give us a call to see what shifts we have available, we would love to have you on board!
