Marshland Hall: Mission Impossible

Marshland Hall: Mission Impossible

Today I am going to try and get my head around a new Half Term Activity I have planned at the hall. I do like to keep coming up with different things for the kids to do, and the Treasure Hunt went down well (although it was only a slight variation on our very popular Easter Egg Hunt!) So, I have in my head a spy mission/mystery whodunnit for the kids to get their teeth into. As with most of my events, it is currently a collection of half-baked ideas floating around inside my head...fingerprints, trip wires, a mystery to solve, a line of suspects... Today the idea is to bring all those together into some sort of plan.

Another event is also always in the background, as I like to have lots of different prizes for our monthly prize bingo - with over 100 prizes to buy, it is a lot of shopping! Luckily for me - and as my husband will confirm - I am a great shopper! I am planning a huge fundraising bingo for our Christmas special in December, so that is always in the back of my mind (along with the trip wires and line of suspects!) and I am always on the lookout for bits to add to the 'Christmas Pile' that I have started. Any donations of any size are always welcome - you can drop them off at the hall, or I can collect if that is more convenient. Next month's prizes, however, will be coming from Springfields in Spalding, as I have a shopping trip planned this Sunday to cover that. If you haven't been along to our bingo night before, you are very welcome! The next one is on October 14th - the doors open at 6:30, and we usually start at 7:15. Hope to see you all there. For now I am off to plan Mission Impossible (or something similar) - wish me luck!
