Silver Surfers

Silver Surfers

We are very excited to launch our new Silver Surfers sessions at Marshland Hall!

According to statistics over 5 million over 65's are 'digitally deprived', meaning they have never used the internet. With so many services now online, many of these people could lose out on important benefits. So at the hall we have decided to do something about it and make the internet as accessible as possible to the older members of our community. We have a community laptop within the Tea Room and we would welcome anyone who has a need to come in and make use of it, and I will be here to assist you with anything you need to look up. Whether you want to learn the basics of using a computer, or have a specific task in mind, we will guide you through it. We have already helped a lovely couple who were house hunting in the area to find some more properties to look at while they were visiting, and also a lady who was about to move house and needed to source a man with a van!

Give me a call on 07722 830253 if you would like to book in for a session, or you can always come over if you see me in the Tea Room typing away.

Hope to see lots of Silver Surfers over the coming weeks.

Til next time,

Tracy x
